Fantastic Introduction to Handwriting Analysis

Filled with quizzes and teach-yourself reviews, this book is a great introduction into graphology. You will learn how to analyze samples, looking for component tells, but ultimately getting a bigger picture into the writer's psyche, and perhaps your own. In any case, it is very practical and will teach you how to analyze with very little difficulty because she makes it extremely logical. A great book for those who are just learning as well as those who wish to brush up on their skills.

Wow! this is a totally amazing book! It really lets you enter the mind of a deaf person and see what it's really like. The fact that Sara is a teenager just makes it all the better! I strongly recomend this book to anyone who is interested in issues concerning people who happen to be deaf, and to anyone who is looking for action, adventure, with a bit of romance.

About the Author

Bilal M. Ayyub is a professor of civil and environmental engineering and the director of the Center for Technology and Systems Management in the A. James Clark School of Engineering at the University of Maryland, where he has been since 1983. He is a leading authority in risk analysis, uncertainty modeling, decision analysis, and systems engineering. Dr. Ayyub earned degrees from Kuwait University and the Georgia Institute of Technology. He is a fellow of the ASCE, the ASME, and the SNAME, and a senior member of the IEEE. Dr. Ayyub has served on many national committees and investigation boards and completed numerous research and development projects for governmental and private entities, including the National Science Foundation; the U.S. Air Force, Coast Guard, Army Corps of Engineers, Navy, and Department of Homeland Security; and insurance and engineering firms. He has received multiple ASNE Jimmie Hamilton Awards for best papers in the Naval Engineers Journal, the ASCE Outstanding Research-Oriented Paper in the Journal of Water Resources Planning and Management, the ASCE Edmund Friedman Award, the ASCE Walter Huber Research Prize, the K.S. Fu Award of NAFIPS, and the Department of the Army Public Service Award. Dr. Ayyub is the author/co-author of more than 550 publications in journals, conference proceedings, and reports, as well as 20 books, including Uncertainty Modeling and Analysis for Engineers and Scientists; Risk Analysis in Engineering and Economics; Elicitation of Expert Opinions for Uncertainty and Risks; Probability, Statistics and Reliability for Engineers and Scientists, Second Edition; and Numerical Methods for Engineers.

Richard H. McCuen is the Ben Dyer Professor of civil and environmental engineering at the University of Maryland. Dr. McCuen earned degrees from Carnegie Mellon University and the Georgia Institute of Technology. His primary research interests are statistical hydrology and stormwater management. This textbook is required for a course I'm taking. I wish there were more examples to accompany the information. Additionally there are no solutions in the appendix to check your work. Lastly it is currently not supported on chegg.com. The book is fine otherwise.

"Stars like Fish" was a wonderful trip with the author. The words that have fallen from her head and magically been transcribed in the pages of this book, take you across a sea of imaginings that lead to a land of satisfaction from the voyage.

Her tapestry of woven words speak to the reader of magical musings which will have you clamoring for the next bend in the maze of the threads she leads you in.

I highly recommend this book, and Ill be awaiting those who take the trip at the end of the natives.

Covering topics as diverse as post-colonialism, law, revenue distribution, security, the environment and customary reconciliation, this ambitious text reveals how and why current corporate social responsibility initiatives may be unable to assist extractive companies avoid social conflict. The study concludes that this is attributable to the failure of extractive companies to respond to the social and environmental issues of most concern to local host communities. The idea is that extractive companies could actively contribute to peace building if they were to engage with the interdependencies between business activity and the root causes of conflict.

What sets this book apart is that it offers a holistic framework for extractive companies to engage with the complexity of resource conflict. ‘Interdependent Engagement’ is an integrated model of corporate social responsibility that encourages extractive companies to deal with the underlying causes of resource conflict, rather than applying solutions or critiques of their symptoms.

When a local call girl comes to her for help after a prostitute turns up dead–one who worked at the Li mansion–with worries the scarred man living there killed her, Belle naturally takes the case. The Midsummer Tales just keep getting better!

If that line works for you, read this book. If you like a brooding, atypical hero and just the right sassy heroine to break down his walls, read this book. If you enjoy a good mystery along with your love story, read this book. If you've ever thought the words, "kinky" and "fairy tale" belong together...yeah, one-click this book RIGHT NOW! Asha's whole Midsummer series is sexy and suspenseful, and Beast is no exception. Cannot wait for the next installment!!!

I love the "who did it" books and love guessing the suspect. This book was amazing. Filled with sexual tension and hotness. I loved the Beauty and the Beast theme. Great read for a lover of fairytales!

Loved this twist on Beauty and the Beast! It was sexy and the mystery portion was engaging. you really wanted the characters to get together and trust each other. I can't wait to read the other installments of this series!
